THE SOFT BALANCING OF THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA: BETWEEN THE EU’S NORMATIVE POWER AND EURASIAN ECONOMIC UNION’S EXPANSION IN THE EASTERN EUROPE

    Get PDF
Having the 2014-2017 timeframe, we aim to observe the long-distanceNormative Power duel between the EU and the EEU, the interests of the two organizations being the most visible in the Republic of Moldova, a state with a soft balancing attitude which is at the same time an observer-member of the Eurasian Economic Union, and also a signatory-member of the Association Agreement with the EU. In order of capturing as faithfully as possible this remote match, we want to analyze the European normative power in relation to the Republic of Moldova by analyzing the main changes that Moldova's trade relations with Brussels and Moscow have suffered following the signing of the Association Agreement in 2014 and the institutional crystallization of the EEU in 2015, using data provided by the Moldavian National Bureau of Statistics and analyzing the official documents which laid the foundations for the recent relationship between the Republic of Moldova and the two organizations

Analysis of the callus process in tibia and fibula fractures reduced with osteosynthesis material

    Get PDF
This paper aims to present some aspects accompanying the process of callus healing of a tibia and fibula fracture reduced by the application of osteosynthesis material. Also in the same context we will describe a case in which fracture reduction can evolve viciously due to clinical or post-surgical approach variables. Timely identification of possible conflicts in the callus processes will allow the bone and soft tissue alignment to be reshaped in order to achieve a functional recovery of the traumatized segment

    Robot Engraving Services in Industry

    Get PDF
This chapter presents a software system created to allow to design complex robot trajectories in the cartesian space, used for tasks like milling or engraving with the aid of a robot. The experimental setup was created using an ABB (ASEA Brown Boveri) IRB 140 robot on which was mounted an engraving tool (which was equipped with a high frequency vibrating pin) or a drilling tool (an electric milling machine controlled with I/O signals) and a computer which is executing a CAD application allowing the design of the path that the robot must follow in order to execute the engraving/milling task. The robot job or task is defined by the set of surfaces of the raw object and of the object after being processed, by subtracting these two surfaces the robot task is given by the set of points resulted after the subtraction. The subtraction operation offers a set of points which must be connected in order to obtain the final trajectory, if the task is to engrave a shape then the tool will be normal to the object surface. The algorithm which is generating the surface is presented along with some experimental results

Study on the determination of the body and mental state of adult age patients

Our study comes from the desire to highlight certain problems faced by adulthood, as well as the awareness of practicing physical exercise in water and on land, in order to combat them. Hypothesis of the work; it is assumed that through a thorough study in terms of body composition and mental status of patients of adult age, we will identify some problems that arise during this period of life and at the same time we will be able to develop truthful programs by applying physical means. The purpose of our work consists in highlighting the main problems of normoponderality and mental status on the patients subjected to the study by applying various tests that will highlight these aspects. Objectives of the study: Identification of body composition and mental status of adult patients; Patients' awareness of the normoponderality and mental problems arising from the applied tests; Promoting physical activities on land and in water, in adulthood. The result of questioning the subjects subjected to the study on the evaluation of the mental status revealed the fact that they have a temporal, spatial orientation, an adequate memory and attention, as well as a reading-writing and copying capacity corresponding to the age, and the determination of the body composition was achieved with the help of the "Tanita" device through which it was found an average of the group of subjects of 43.13% fat, 25,80 % muscle mass, 6,83 % bone mass, and water 42,22 %
